I'm so glad to see that so many people have tried the little collage wallet! I haven't been on cutoutandkeep for so long, and I never would have thought that it would be such a hit!
Have fun and good luck, its so fun looking at all the versions people have done. I hope you enjoy the bags as much as I have!
this was a really superb project! it was the first proj on the site that i actually tried out! and it turned out REALLY good! everyone gets SO shocked when i tell them that i made it and even MORE shocked when i tell them what i made it out of! thanks!!
this is awesome i always feel guilty about tossing my beauty and fashion magazines now i have something to make with them , thenks for sharing , i appreciate it ,
I just made a Hetalia Axis Powers one!! XD I will post it soon. :3
I kinda cheated though... :/ I used staples instead of sewing it ^^; (sewing machine isn't working!! ._.)
This gave me an awesome idea: Using the plastic wallets, make two collaged side panels for a messenger bag, then add a gusset with a zip at the top to make a giant collage bag! INSPIRATIONAL TUTORIAL!

so i absolutely loved this idea and had to try it, but i made a few errors along the way, i curved the inside edges as well by mistake and made the inside flap part where you sow too low so it's a bit flimsy, but i really love the collage i made, so any suggestions on how to save it?
Wow this is such an amazing idea! And sooooo many people have done versions aswell. I am going to cut up my ELLE magazine now and make one for all of my friends. Hmmmm maybe a pencil case is possible too...... ^-^ xx
I will do this as soon as I get a new sewing machine. I have a Singer, but the problem is that the engine thing is very weak, I added the batteries to and pluged in, yet nothing. I can't wait though!

This is an awesome project ( the first on this whole site that I decided to do ) It was very simple
- for the inside, instead of using a whole picture ( and draining my printer ink, I decided that only the flap had to pretty (you don't really see inside)
I love it! I have a TON of sheet protecters that I bought for a school project once. I ended up changing my mind and didn't even use them. I also have loads of old magazines.. thanks!
Im making some right now but from just pages from fashion mags. thats really great. i screwed up my first two attempts though, and now I've run out of thread ¬_¬. grrr.
i love this bag! the other versions are so much harder with decopage etc and i have thousands of those paper divders just lying around! i would love to try to make one with a tinted divider....

Lovin' all the different versions, as well...
but i do have one question. just how durable and strong is this purse? do you think i would be able to make a real little messenger bag this way?
