Easy, delicious, and healthy!
Chili is always a good choice, especially when you are having a party. It is even suitable for a one-person household since you can prepare more than one serving and heat it up again.
This chili in particular is a multi-talent: it is easily prepared in no time, delicious, not expensive and the main ingredients can be stored for a long time as they are canned – so you just need to buy some fresh bell peppers and you are ready to get started! And if you wind up having more guests than expected you can easily add another can of corn or beans if you like.
I am very sure that no one would miss the minced meat in this vegan chili, even my mom was surprised how good it is *yay*
I give you the advice to use a BIG pot =)
Gather all INGREDIENTS. As you can see, I chose a Spanish onion. I prefer those as they are less pungent in their taste and they fit better to the other vegetables.
(I am not sure how to translate "Sojaschnetzel" properly. The technical term would be textured soy protein or more commonly soy meat.)
Put the heat on again. Add some SPICE! Use anything you like. I always use salt, freshly grinded black pepper, cayenne pepper and red paprika (the sweet one, not the hot one). I recomend adding some sugar (to balance the spiciness) and some oil (for those precious fat-soluble vitamins!). Keep adding until you reached the desired pepperiness.
Sometimes I am not happy because the chili is too liquid. Just add as much FLOUR until you smile again =)
